Dear Parent/Carer
Your child is invited to attend the upcoming College Taster Days at North Lindsey College on Friday 19th June 2026 and John Leggott College on Wednesday 1st July 2026.
These days will help students develop their aspirations and knowledge whilst supporting students when making informed choices in relation to their Careers Education. These specialised days complement our careers and personal development provision within the academy, broadening their horizons and giving them a valuable college experience.
Your child has indicated which sessions they wish to attend on both days, please see the attached letter confirming their choice for North Lindsey College. This letter includes important information regarding safety and equipment requirements for certain sessions.
Summary of Taster Days:
North Lindsey College – Friday 19th June 2026
Students will be collected from the academy by college transport. Students will need to be in their academy uniform. Due to the day finishing at 12pm, students will not have the opportunity to eat lunch on site. If your child is eligible for free school meals a packed lunch will be provided by the academy if they wish to take one. Please make arrangements for your child to walk home or be collected from North Lindsey College, all students will be dismissed from North Lindsey College.
John Leggott College- Tuesday 9th July 2026
Students will be collected from the academy by college transport. Students may wear appropriate casual clothes. Lunch will be provided for all students. The day is due to finish at 2pm, please make arrangements for your child to walk home or be collected from John Leggott College, all students will be dismissed from John Leggott College.
Students are expected to arrive on time at the academy as normal for 8:15am.
