Dear Parents/Carers,
I am writing to you today with immense excitement and a sense of privilege as I introduce myself as the new Head of Year for the current Year 7’s here at The St Lawrence Academy.
I believe that a strong partnership between home and school is crucial for student success. I am eager to work closely with you to ensure that your child’s journey through what is left of year 7 and the rest of their school journey is a positive and enriching one.
I know that change in the middle of the year can feel like uncertain times for students and parents but please feel assured that having a good knowledge of the students within the year group is, and will always be a priority. Having taught a number of year 7 students this year I already have good understanding and through working closely with Mr Browne (year 7 SPL) this will only increase.
