Our provision for Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance gives our young people the foundations needed for making future career choices and deciding with confidence the pathways they will take. We strive to ensure the needs of all young people are met through a range of events and initiatives, ensuring that all are supported to make the very most of their unique talents.
During each term in the academic year we host our very special Raising Aspirations Days that aim to raise the hope and aspirations of our young people by offering valuable engagement and experiences with further education providers and a wide range of employers. Such encounters with employers and employees on a local and national scale, experience of workplaces around the region and insights into higher and further education across the country all form a part of this extensive programme.
The meaningful encounters and opportunities that our Raising Aspirations Days provide a young person with during their journey at the academy really help to shape how we can prepare them for the future and ensure they are motivated and ready for the career pathway they wish to follow.
