Mrs Woolley
I am the Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead as well as the Mental Health Lead here at the academy. In my role, I work closely with students to ensure they feel safe, supported, and valued during their time at the academy.
My room is a safe and welcoming space where students can come to talk about anything that’s on their mind. Whether you need help with a problem, want to share a concern, or just need someone to listen, I am here to provide support.
As Mental Health Lead, I understand how important it is to look after your emotional well-being. My role involves working with students to help them manage feelings of stress, anxiety, or low mood, as well as building confidence and resilience. Together, we can explore strategies that work best for you, so you feel empowered to face challenges.
In addition to one-to-one chats, my room can also be used for quieter moments when you need a break from the busy school day. It’s a space where you can feel at ease, knowing that everything you share will be treated with respect and understanding.
Parents and carers are also welcome to get in touch if they have concerns about their child’s well-being. I work with families, teachers, and external professionals to create a supportive network that meets the needs of each student.
I am passionate about helping students feel their best and our academy community knows that support is always available. Remember, you don’t have to face anything alone—my door is always open.
